Taking it easy

A Study in Whippet Begging

Ribsy takes the pitiful approach. "Oh please....please....please?"

Mirabel prefers the hypnotic approach. "You...will...give...it...to...me....now."

Mirabel waits for the rain to go away, while Ribsy decides to just sleep through it all.

"This new whippet looks like us, but he doesn't seem to like to run..." observed Ribsy.

"He weighs more than me!" an astonished Mirabel interjected.

"...which makes him an UnWhippet," concluded Ribsy.

They call me the toothsayer

Ribsy slumbers the chilly day away in the attic nook. His tooth always sticks out when he sleeps. And sometimes, too, when he just sits and stares and contemplates life in general. No matter what the circumstance, you can almost always count on the friendly appearance of Toothy Magoo.

Mira on the mend

Mirabel shows off her new custom made fleece jammies from Dog-E-Designs. The brown leaf print pays homage to the woods she so dearly loves to romp in, and that she hopes to return to very, very soon. 

The jammes fit like a glove, practically hermetically sealing in her warmth, and she promptly proceeded to fall asleep on the couch. 

Ribsy - you remember him, right? - can't wait until all this pajama drama with Mirabel is over so that this blog can go back to more important things, like him.

Caught in the act

Perhaps Ribsy (on the left) loves his pesky sister Mirabel after all, as evident in this sneaky capture by Girl. Holding paws tenderly like that must mean you at least care a smidgen for that other beast.

Gah! thought Ribsy. How embarrassing. Girl, how could you?

Nine o'clock treat
