Ribsy caught his Girl looking adoringly at these online and who can blame her. These lovely underthings are from Smoking Lily, a favourite store of Girl's ever since they started festooning their fashions with a sporty greyhound print (yes, officially it's a greyhound but it's whippety enough, no?)

So while unfortunate that their stores are in Victoria and Vancouver only (unfortunate for Girl, anyway), there's always online shopping, plus Christmas as the perfect excuse to purchase unnecessary-but-irresistible underwear for oneself.

Me on a Monday. Pretty much like any other day of the week. You can't really see the excitement, but this photo was taken the moment Girl came home. She says it's the best part of her day. I say ditto.
