The Wainscott Weasel is the touching story of a rebel weasel and his love for a fish - and rumor has it that it's going to be made into a movie. Squeee!
Snake and Lizard - and its sequel Friends - is a charming collection of adventures shared by two unlikely friends. Here's an excerpt:
'I absolutely LOVE eggs!' Snake said.
'You know that.'
Lizard replied, 'You mean you like eggs.
We do not use the word love for food.'
'I do.'
'Love,' said Lizard, 'is a word for relationships, not for things. You can't have a relationship with your dinner.'
'I can,' Snake replied.'
Ribsy's not a fan of interspecies love - other than with Boy and Girl, of course. But other creatures? No thank you. So quite naturally, he is shocked by the following video which shows the obvious affection between a whippet and - gasp - a cat. In fact, Mirabel was ready to attack the computer when she saw this.
