The Walkout on Winter is on hold, maybe even over, as temperatures warm up - you know, the -8 to -15 range. Today Ribsy and Mirabel zoomed around Warren Park, reveling in the softly fallen snow, and oblivious to the chilly air.
But what's really warming them up is a different sort of change - finally, Barack Obama will be sworn in as the 44th president of the United States of America tomorrow morning. Since they both have American blood in them, Ribsy and Mirabel have been taking a keen interest in the festivities. As has Girl, especially given that Jon Bon Jovi made an appearance during the We are One Inaugural celebration yesterday.
There been times that I thought I couldn't last for long
But now I think I'm able to carry on
It's been a long, a long time coming
But I know a change gonna come, oh yes it will

Back to the topic at hand. Ribsy's making sure that Girl leaves the TV on for him, and that Mirabel's crate is pivoted so that they can both watch the historic moment.
