Ribsy has got small town Ontario sightseeing 'covered'. On a rain splattered Saturday afternoon the pack and friend squeezed in visits to the St. Jacobs market, the West Montrose covered bridge (the only one left in Ontario) and the charming, artsy town of Elora - where a 12th generation Japanese master tea-maker resides. Who woulda thunk?

Some more pics from the historic bridge. Yes, you can drive through it but then you'd miss all the "Joanie, will you marry me?" scrawls and the gigantic cobwebs.
And Sunday? The pack stopped by the Winona Peach Festival, but were deeply disappointed by the lack of peach-oriented attractions. Always be wary of free-admission but $7 pay parking-type of events. It could have been an anytown, any-kind-of-theme fair. The worst part? No dogs allowed. Yet, there were at least 5 pet-related booths (along with a pest control booth, a couple of tarot card tables, henna stand...you get the picture).
Speaking of peaches, Boy is progressing well on his juice cleanse. Just three more days to go. Pretty soon he'll be whippet-thin.
